1. Information we process
Depending on how you use GetServio, we may process account and authentication information, email address, telephone number, contact name, firm information, service addresses, postal codes, service-request details, offer messages, support messages, photographs submitted with service requests, country and city information, limited device-platform information and push-notification tokens.
When you choose automatic location, GetServio may access device location to suggest your country and city. Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to add photographs to a service request.
2. How we use information
Information is processed to provide and secure GetServio, authenticate accounts, create and manage service requests, connect customers with eligible firms, manage offers and selected jobs, provide support, deliver service notifications, maintain country-scoped platform rules, prevent abuse and fraud, diagnose operational problems and maintain security and audit records.
3. Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, the legal basis depends on the processing activity. Processing may be necessary to perform a contract or take steps requested before entering a contract, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate interests such as platform security, fraud prevention, service reliability and protection of users where those interests are not overridden by individual rights.
Where consent is required for a particular processing activity, GetServio relies on consent and users may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law.
4. Service providers
GetServio uses technical infrastructure and platform providers for functions including authentication, database services, storage, server-side functions, notifications, application delivery and hosting. Providers process information only for the technical purposes required to provide their respective services and subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
5. Location, camera and photographs
Location access is requested only when location-based functionality is used. Manual location selection is available instead of automatic GPS-based detection. Camera and photo-library permissions are used only when you choose to take or select photographs for a service request.
6. Notifications and device data
If notifications are enabled, GetServio may store a push-notification token and limited device-platform information so service-related notifications can be delivered. GetServio does not use an advertising identifier for advertising tracking unless a future policy and consent framework expressly states otherwise.
7. Analytics, telemetry and operational monitoring
GetServio operates first-party, PII-minimized operational telemetry, health monitoring, incident detection and funnel analytics to measure reliability, security, abuse signals and service-flow performance. Operational telemetry is designed not to store unnecessary raw personal identifiers such as email addresses, telephone numbers, service addresses, GPS coordinates, authentication tokens or guest keys.
8. Retention and deletion
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, including operation of active requests and jobs, account administration, support, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling and applicable legal obligations.
Security, audit and operational records may be retained for an appropriate period where necessary to preserve platform integrity, investigate misuse, establish or defend legal claims, or comply with law.
9. Account deletion
Firm users can initiate account deletion through the available account-management flow. A public deletion-request route is maintained at getservio.net/account-deletion. When deletion is completed, information is deleted, removed or anonymized in accordance with the platform’s operational and legal retention requirements.
10. Security
GetServio uses access controls, row-level security, role-based administrative controls, country-scoped data separation, private storage controls, server-side gateways, rate limits, audit mechanisms, operational monitoring and controlled backup and recovery procedures designed to protect information.
No technical system can guarantee absolute security. GetServio maintains technical and organisational measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, alteration, loss or misuse.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent where consent is the applicable basis. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority.
Privacy and account-related requests can be initiated through GetServio Support. Identity verification may be required where reasonably necessary to protect personal information.
12. International processing
GetServio is designed to operate across multiple countries. Technical service providers may process information in jurisdictions different from the user’s country. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, GetServio uses an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and contractual or organisational safeguards.
13. Controller and contact
GetServio is the service and brand name used across the platform. Privacy and data-protection requests can be submitted through GetServio Support and the contact channels published by GetServio.
Where applicable law requires a market-specific operating entity, representative or legal notice, the applicable market notice supplements this policy.
14. Changes to this policy
GetServio may update this policy when its services, data practices, legal requirements, operating structure or technical providers change. Material changes will be reflected in the published policy and communicated where required.
